Welcome

I am extremely fortunate to have found my calling in life. Simply put, I am honored and privileged to be a psychologist. I love what I do! I have been in private practice since 2011 in Austin, TX. Prior to moving to Austin, I lived in NYC, where I worked as a lecturer and faculty staff member at the Columbia University-Teachers College School Psychology Program. I loved overseeing fieldwork and teaching graduate students coursework in psycho educational assessment, counseling, multiculturalism, and school-based consultation.

I have extensive experience providing therapy for adults, couples, families, children, and adolescents. Please visit the services pages to find out more about my work.

I strive to provide a warm, supportive, non-judgmental, and collaborative working relationship with all my clients. I am deeply compassionate in my work and I am committed to bringing about positive changes in your life.

I have been married for over 15 years to a partner who is truly my equal. We share equal zeal to parent our three imperfect but perfectly lovable children. As parents, we value mistakes/growth over perfection/completion. We also come from an interracial marriage (Asian/Caucasian), where we have navigated the terrains of balancing our cultural differences in our shared worlds.

Speaking of experiences, I can check off many boxes when it comes to life’s wild cards. I truly value those challenges and use them to foster my own professional and personal growth.

I am highly creative, have a well-balanced left and right brain dexterity (strong intuition with analytical skills), am big on openness and can pretty much talk to anyone~ am a fan of escape rooms, spicy food, and keeping things real.
